Finding Flow

How do we find inspiration? It can be daunting to sit with a blank or overfull mind, not knowing where to start.

This week’s Annie and Eva doodle story shares one of the ways I kickstart my creativity. I bring a clear intention to give space for inspiration to land.

Sometimes I have to help myself by getting out of my head and into my heart, so I can be more present and find ‘the zone’. If it is doodling I am creating space for, and no idea is forming, I will usually just start doodling flowers because it gives me joy and it stops me from overthinking.

Sometimes the image evolves from there and sometimes it turns into something very different. The key is not to be afraid, to trust the process and stay away from judging our efforts.

The more we trust, the less resistance we will experience. The less we judge, the more we will flow.
