Annie and Eva are on a Quest

I started a quest, i.e. a promise to myself and Eva. The quest is to get up at 0709 hrs every day and create a better morning routine. After having worked from home for the past 7+ years, and letting go of much of my old rules and ways of working, my daily schedule has become a little blurry.

Now I start my day again by taking my dog Eva for a good walk and then spend some time doodling my Annie and Eva stories before I start the rest of my workday.

Making this decision was inspired, born out of love for myself, my dog, my art and my heart, and out of a wish to live a life in service.

I have thought about starting this commitment to myself for a long time but it came out of ‘should’ and I knew I needed inspired guidance, so have quietly been asking for it. Karen Darke‘s story on my friend Sue Revell’s amazing Women on a Mission podcast and how Quest 79 was born was the catalyst.

From personal and professional experience I know how powerful committing to a daily act of dedicated self-love is. I previously wrote for 365 days exploring the art of contribution and, although it was never my intention, I ended up publishing a book with my findings. My insights were also the catalyst for my daily doodle practice for a year (and beyond) and it changed how I worked and how I see myself.

I have decided to share one story a week so as not to saturate you or put pressure on myself and truly hope both you and I will get value from them.

Love from Annie and Eva,
